One Village Group Conference

I'm here in Greenwood Indiana for a 4 day workshop with One Village Group, led by Matt and Erik Scott. I'm learning about setting up a ministry blog and how to best reach my audience.

I was recently reminded of Isaiah 61:1, which says "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor, he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound." I am so thankful that the Lord has called me to serve in Clarkston, GA among refugees.

It's been encouraging to meet Pauline and Dani from Gate of Hope in Louisville, KY. They are lovely ladies who are also serving refugees, more specifically from Rwanda, Congo, Burundi, Tanzania, and Uganda.
