Camp Encounter Update

We just finished 2 weeks of Camp yesterday! Thank you for your prayers. We have gotten off to a great start, with great volunteers and unity within our team. We've also reached our capacity for campers (120), and many are on a waiting list. I have three main praises to share. 1) My friend Daniel Stephan and his family whom I lived with in Brasil in 2022 have moved to Clarkston to pursue sport ministry here, and their visa just got approved! I couldn't be more excited to have them in Clarkston and serving the Lord together again.

2) We have finally completed a renovation project in a neighboring basement to host churches that come to partner with us at CIBC. This was such a big need with the amount of teams we host every year, and it will a great investment to the future of mission trips in Clarkston.

3) Many campers have been learning more about Jesus, but one boy named Kidus especially has interest and really seems to be seeking Christ! Please keep him in your prayers.

I would really appreciate your prayers for Camp Encounter. Please pray that our volunteers and staff stay healthy through the 6 week marathon. Pray that campers would come to know Christ and be unashamed of their faith!
